Dave Conrardy was 430 pounds, his diabetes and blood sugar were out of control and he was experiencing a myriad of diseases and syndromes including colon cancer, Type 2 Diabetes, severe acid reflux and arthritis. One of Dave’s kidneys was infected, and both were leaking protein into his bloodstream, a very serious and devastating issue in late stage diabetes.
“At 430 pounds, I was a walking, talking toxic waste dump and I didn’t even understand it or know it or realize it.”

Diane’s humorous and joyful spirit shines through in this beautiful and sometimes funny video interview below about her journey through breast cancer. Her story moves through pressure from doctors to have double mastectomy and oophorectomy (removal of ovaries) to a compromise that included lumpectomy and localized radiation only. First though, Diane took six months to research, learn, find support and build a foundation for healing.
Doctors partly based their decision that Diane should have double (or single) mastectomy on their false assumption that she was positive for the BRCA1 gene. Three months into Diane’s six month experiment on the Macrobiotic diet she got authorization to take the test, which turned out to be negative.
After she found a lump, which turned into two, the stage one diagnosis turned into stage two because of the presence of multiple tumours. Even with the massive fear that surrounds a breast cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment, Diane was able to recognize that in order to make the right decisions, she must remain calm and in control. There is more wisdom in his words than even he realizes.
He carries a deep love and loyalty to his country and his people. His message about reasoning versus violence rings true around the world, not just in his own country. The people of the world are beginning to see how hope, faith and a more positive way of thinking can change our world in ways we never imagined and most important, these ways of being and thinking are crucial to helping children heal, overcome cancer and live much better lives.
At times during the interview, his voice breaks and you can feel his emotion pouring through as he almost begins to cry. I wish you could hear the interview, however he prefers to remain completely anonymous to protect himself and (more…)

“My first basal cell carcinoma appeared 30 years ago under my right eye. The dermatologist cut it out and radiated it. Over 100 other basal and squamous cell cancers have been treated since.
“I joyfully sent yet another story of healing from advanced cervical cancer naturally. Everyone’s journey is perfectly unique. My healing was not nested in the physical things I did; it blossomed from a surrender and a commitment to love myself with the time I thought remained. To anyone reading this with cancer, cancer is an experience and a teacher, if you allow it to be. I am grateful for my experience and the chance to really LIVE my life. ANYONE has the potential to heal. If I could heal with limited resources living the oft chaotic life of a single mother of four children…….so can you! They said it couldn’t be done until the fool who didn’t know it couldn’t be done came along and did it. I am, with the utmost gratitude for my life that ‘fool.’
I did not climb a mountain or find a secluded months-long retreat. I did not learn Yoga or wear a turban. I did not chant a mantra or meet with a passel of healers. I simply had no time for these valuable but elusive tools. I am not wealthy nor have I been a perfect wife, mother or even person. I however have healed from advanced cervical cancer naturally. I healed in the context of a busy often chaotic everyday life of a single mom with four kids. Even better, I had a baby at 43 years of age, four years after a diagnosis of advanced cervical cancer. If one person can do this, the portal to all possibilities has opened. Read ON! (more…)
Jonathan Chamberlain is a researcher and author of four books on cancer as well as a personal memoir on caregiving and living with his profoundly disabled daughter, Stevie. After losing his wife to cervical cancer, Jonathan has spent the last several years researching cancer and the many aspects that surround this often misunderstood and just as often mistreated dis-ease.
“Cancer is an early warning signal that the ecology of the body is out of sync.”
In this short interview, Jonathan shares golden gems of insight for healing your body.
He tells the true story he documented in ‘The Amazing Cancer Kid: The totally true story of Connah Broom,’ about a young boy who was sent home to die with eleven tumors in his body. When doctors told the boy’s grandparents he would be dead in 18 months, they refused to believe. They changed every aspect of Connah’s life that mattered. Now he is very well and entering secondary school.
“He’s robustly healthy. He plays football. He dances … and he still has cancer.”
Jonathan also talks about how to create a support team around you if you are in healing mode.
He speaks from a caregiver’s perspective on the best way to support someone with cancer.

In this interview which took place in September of 2013, Mindy shares her uplifting story of transformation as she moves through brain cancer tumors in this personal and poignant story.
She shares frustrations about receiving incorrect information from her Neuro-Oncologist, who told her to eat cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes to help her gain weight. To gain fat and ill-health he surely meant.
Moving through cancer has produced a transformation in Mindy that she believes would not have happened otherwise: “As a result of having cancer, my personal life has improved, all my relationships, I believe are better.”
Her neurological symptoms began with speech and motor control problems. She describes the pain of realizing there was something terribly wrong and of having to tell her husband: ‘I have brain cancer.’ She says it was the hardest thing to ever leave her mouth.
Several months ago Mindy had a biopsy on one brain tumor which was never removed because of its inoperable location. MRI’s show that (more…)
